OUMAYAB- The Ohio University Spanish Abroad Program

In regards to my expectations for the experience of studying abroad this winter, I will state firstly that I hope it will improve my ability speak Spanish more fluently. I believe that being immersed in the culture of Mexico will help to solidify what I have learned and only been able to use in the classroom setting. I expect to experience some culture shock upon finally entering Latin Amer. I also think that after the shock wears off the experiences I have will improve my ability to adapt to unusual circumstances and initiate some level of comfort with traveling abroad in general.
