A few stereotypes I can think of are about Mexican men, lifestyle and family. A stereotype I have about the men is that they usually feel free to whistle and yell at any female at any age. The lifestyle I always assume is that they always have parties and that they don’t know much about technology. My third stereotype is that every mexican family is very large and loud and that they are always together.

         When I travel to Mexico this winter I have many expectations of what my experience will consist of. I think it will be hard to understand my host family when I first get there. I think they might talk really fast and that will be hard for me to understand. I also expect that I’ll enjoy the culture and atmosphere in Mexico. Lastly I expect my spanish to be much better by the end of the trip.

Nuestro grupo visitó la fabrica Dondé el 1 de febrero. Empezamos con una película que explicaba la historia y la producción de la fabrica. Hay 600 personas que trabajan en la fabrica y producen 50 productos. Vimos la producción de galletas y pastas. La fabrica se fundó en 1905. Vimos muchos departamentos que incluyen Calidad, Distribución, Administrativo, Compras y Ventas, y Maniobras. La fabrica era muy estricta con los visitantes. Necesitamos llevar pantalones largos, camisas y cosas para proteger la cara y el pelo.  Al terminar la visita, nos regalaron paquetes de galletas. Fue una visita muy interesante.
